Bowling takes a hiatus as we Oregonians hit to the Mushball and Kickball fields during the summer. Look for RSL’s bowling leagues to start up again in September. League registration will open in August! If you have questions about bowling, feel free to us!

Tuesday Night Bowling Champs and Golden Pin Earners!

Hot Lunch defeated wins Tuesday nights, in other news, bears poop in the woods! Seriously though, these guys have solidified their place as the winningest team in RSL history with the most championships! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Negative Reinforcement for winning ALL of the golden pin (which are arguably the coolest award we give) this season including highest team score! Ryan with a 234 Female, Mel with a 194!

And, not to be forgotten, congratulations to the Consolation champs, C U Next Tuesday

Monday Night Bowling Champs and Golden Pins!

The team names may have changed but the fierce rolling stayed the same. Pin Pals and Panthers squared off for a repeat of last season’s championship game. This time the Panthers retook their title as the top Recesstime rollers on Monday nights! Congratulations Panthers!

Panthers took home the Golden pin along with Ben from Pin Pals and Jai with A Moment to Spare! Congratulations!

Sunday Night Bowling Champs and Golden Pin winners!

Sunday night’s bowling league has turned out to be an exciting party on the lanes and that didn’t change in the tournament! The first week, the top three seeds were knocked into the consolation bracket leaving room for some underdogs to potentially take home a golden bowler. The finals saw a #9 seed and # 11 seed battling it out for the championship! 11 seed Danger! High! Voltage! again made it to the final game only to be knocked off by a short handed 9 seed, Butter Bang! Congratulations Butter Bang on your first Recesstime Bowling Red Shirt!

Golden pins were earned by Mae from Bowl Movement with a score of 222. Paul from Le Big Bauske took home the male golden pin with a score of 244 and the overall team golden pin went to Bowl Movement with a score of 682. Congratulations to all winners!

Registration is now open for spring bowling! We have two leagues to choose from; Sundays & Mondays at Hollywood Bowl!

We roll for five weeks, and then two weeks of playoffs. All teams make the playoffs! Shoes are included!

Recesstime participants and their friends and family are invited to a night at the Rose Garden to see the Portland Trail Blazers take on the Atlanta Hawks. Fall Bowling Leagues Choose from Three Nights!

We have three awesome new leagues at three new locations for your bowling convenience!

Sundays we’re having our first league at Grand Central, yeah, that awesome bowling alley with four gigantic projection screens, dozens of plasmas, sweet leather couches for bowling/lounging. Plus weekly giveaways and drink discounts just for rolling with Recesstime!

Mondays we’re rolling at AMF Pro Am on Powell. They’re offering sweet discounts on food plus some free bowling during the week, just for rolling with us!

Tuesdays we’re at Interstate. In addition to bar discounts, they have four pool tables for some post-bowling action. It’s across the street from the max line so you can leave the wheels in the garage!

Bowl For Kids Sake

Recesstime is proud to announce our first big bowling fundraiser! We’re teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters for a bowling fundraiser at Holllywood Bowl on May 9th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Gather friends, family, and co-workers to join a team. Consider challenging another team to participate! Come out and meet other supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters. It’s not about bowling; it’s about raising money for kids!

As a thank you, you and your team will be our guest with free bowling, pizza and beverages. There will be all sorts of prizes for top fundraisers and low bowling scores and number of gutter balls. There is no special skill needed to come out and have fun while helping kids.

Funds raised will go directly toward matching children with carefully-screened, caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers. In order to continue to bring life changing friendships to children in our community, the Big Brothers and Big Sisters’ goal is to raise $310,000, and every donation you bring in gets us closer to that goal.

Recesstime is asking that each player raise $125.00 for a 5 or 6 person team.

Let’s help Big Brothers Big Sisters reach and beat their fundraising goal by hosting 16 teams!
Bowl for Kids Sake is open to all ages and teams will have no gender minimum/requirement!

Dodgeball and Bowling Registration Open Now

Teams are now forming for the Spring 2009 seasons!

For dodgeball, we have three co-ed league nights to satiate your dipping and dodging desires. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night leagues begin March 30th! Check out the dodgeball registration page for more information.

Co-ed league Bowling starts March 30th and 31st - we have two nights to choose from, Mondays and Tuesdays. The league runs seven weeks, scores are capped at 201 so you don’t get blown out. Go here for more information.
