Tacos

Too shy to go for the gusto but clever enough to come up with a team name + t-shirt color that conveys the idea, the Tacos, clad in pink, were named after Team Captain EJ was inspired by a trip to Vegas. After gambling away her paycheck, EJ stopped in and ate at the “Pink Taco.” Too embarrassed to actually name a Team “Pink Tacos” they came up with this clever pun. The “Tacos” is also a tribute to EJ’s early days when she was a shift manager at Taco Time and a few of her employees, to blow off steam, would play dodgeball in the parking lot after hours.
All Taco references aside, the Tacos consider themselves a team motivated by funpetition. (Fun + Competition.) They love to get on the court and play a great game despite all the talk surrounding Big Tim and his Big Nipples… “On cue, once that first whistle blows his man nipples come to attention.” What can you say to that?! The team gets excited about dodgeball! Another highlight (maybe that last note was more of a lowlight?); EJ has finally learned how to make the correct Taco handshake/sign after 3 seasons. (If you see the Tacos, in particular, EJ, ask to see the team handshake.)
At 5-3 this season, they’re off to a great start and definitely have a handle on the “competitive” aspect of the “funpetition” team motto. Whether it’s the Taco association the areola that lead them, when these guys hit the court, it’s Taco Time! Big Tim’s nipples, EJ the Taco Time shift manager, Adam (who really is a nice guy if you ask the Tacos) and all.
