dodgeballs for pickup

as many of the folks who go to friendly house pickup know, the balls over there are in pretty lousy shape lately. we’ve asked them to get some new balls for us, and they’re “working on it”, but i had another idea:

looks like we can order decent balls on amazon for about $4.50 each. i was thinking that we might all chip in a couple bucks and donate some balls to friendly house one week instead of the regular friday cash donation. if you’d be interested in throwing in $2-$3, PM me and i’ll order as many balls as i can get money together for. my goal is 12, six each of 2 different colors, but even a few new ones would help the situation.

There are 3 posts and 9 pictures about bowling. Its covering the whole page! Seriously, I didn’t know people under 80 even went to the bowling alley anymore. Someone please do something Finn can post about tonight so we can get a real sport back on the front page.

What’s up with all the missing women next season???

Hey ladies were are you all going??? I see so many teams out there that are in need of women including Raging Ballz and it doesn’t look like we will be coming back next season because we can’t get enough women. I know there are plenty of athletic women out there that like to be around ballz and drink the night away but it seems that they have all disappeared from Portland for the Spring season. Is it because the sun is coming out? If any of you know were we could find them so the league can have as many fun teams and action as we did this season so please share the love and start hooking those women up w/ some Recesstime fun playing dodgeball and being social.

So,my team is not coming back for spring, and I am looking for a team to join for the spring. I’d be a primary player, as I play on only one team a night. I’m a seasoned vet and a decent player. My preference is to play with a good group of people that like to have fun. (Hopefully with people I know) Since I don’t recognize some of the team names posting looking for ladies, I thought I’d post here since I’m sure I know several of you. So.. if you need a lady, please PM me.
