If not, I could use your help! Don’t worry, no heavy lifting involved or anything like that. I am currently an intern on John Canzano’s radio show, and on August 6th from 3-6 they are having the first annual Canzano Calzone eating contest. Competing will be none other than some of the top local news celebrities! Stephanie Kralevich, Amy Troy, Rhonda Shelby and Alexis Del Cid will be the competitors.
So what do you need to do? Basically just show up, and drink beer. We just want to have a nice turnout for the camera crews that are going to be showing up. I promised I would have 5 people, so is there any chance I can get 5 (or more) of you lovely people to show up? I realize the time isn’t great, but if you’re not working and would be willing to come out, I would love that.
All of the proceeds are benefiting the Bald-Faced Truth foundation. It is a foundation that gives money to local youth in order for them to be able to play sports that they wouldn’t be able to otherwise afford.
